It was just a question of wishing it and finding the right people to do it. And, luckily, in our case it happened. The three of us knew exactly what we wanted to achieve, each of us had the same dream: we wished to own and to build a hotel where there would be no guests, no clients but a hotel where you could feel as if you were at home.
And that is what it really happened, it worked. Two different trajectories, one which intended to keep a long family tradition in hotel management, and the one that knew what is to really take care and do their utmost to make people feel welcome.
Both histories converged in a single one: the wish of beginning a new project full of hospitality and great care, a hotel with a lot of character.
That is the idea, that when you go back to Las Doñas Del Portazgo you could sense the same feeling as when you go back to that house whose smell you could never forget, the same house in which you grew up or the place where you used to spend your summer holidays. That is Las Doñas Del Portazgo.
After a year in which we kept looking for the right place so that our dream could become true, we finally found it and then we started working with the project, the building process and the decoration. Today, after many months of great efforts and hard work we can say that we got it. Therefore, Las Doñas Del Portazgo is waiting for you so that you can enjoy and relax, always making you feel as if you were at home.
